UL VISION in the Spotlight in Aviation et Pilote

UL Control was pleased to discover that the June 2026 issue of Aviation et Pilote magazine featured a special report on “Future Technologies for General Aviation,” in which our UL VISION head-up display system was highlighted among the innovations expected to transform the way we fly tomorrow.

In this article, the magazine emphasizes the originality of our approach to head-up display technology for light and ultralight aviation. Unlike traditional HUD systems, whose display remains fixed along the aircraft’s longitudinal axis, UL VISION uses augmented reality smart glasses that allow pilots to keep all essential flight information within their field of view, regardless of where they are looking.

The journalist also highlights the innovative architecture of our system, which is built around DART, our autonomous wireless Pitot probe. DART collects flight data and transmits it directly to the pilot’s glasses. This technology currently enables the display of altitude, airspeed, vertical speed, angle of attack, slip/skid indication, and other essential flight parameters, while allowing pilots to keep their eyes outside the cockpit.

The article further underlines the potential of this technology for future augmented reality applications in general aviation. The gradual integration of aeronautical information, traffic data, weather information, and airspace awareness is paving the way for a new generation of pilot assistance systems.

We would like to sincerely thank the editorial team of Aviation et Pilote for their interest in our work, and we are proud to see our vision of innovation recognized among the technologies that will help shape the future of light and ultralight aviation.

The journey continues.
